CFS

(Container Freight Station) - The term CFS at loading port means the location designated by carriers for the receiving of cargo to be packed into containers by the carrier. At discharge ports, the term CFS means the bonded location designated by carriers in the port area for unpacking and delivery of cargo.

CFS/CFS

(Pier to Pier) - The term CFS/CFS means cargo delivered by breakbulk to carrier's container freight station (CFS) to be packed by carrier into containers and to be unpacked by carrier from the container at carrier's destination port CFS.

CFS Charge

(Container Freight Charge) - The charge assessed for services performed at the loading or discharging port in the packing or unpacking of cargo into/from containers at CFS.

CFS/CY

(Pier to House) - The term CFS/CY means cargo delivered breakbulk to carrier's CFS to be packed by carrier into containers and accepted by consignee at carrier's CY and unpacked by the consignee off carrier's premises, all at consignee's risk and expense.

MOL and APL announce direct Vietnam – US West Coast services

Both MOL and APL have announced direct services from Vietnam to the West Coast of North America.

Mitsui OSK Lines' Pacific Southwest Express (PSX) service will begin calling on Cai Mep in South Vietnam.

The first vessel - the 6,350 TEU MOL Premium, will depart Cai Mep on June 4th.

The PSX service will provide comprehensive coverage of the Pacific Southwest with calls at the ports of Los Angeles and Oakland.

The PSX port rotation will be: Cai Mep ( Wed/Thu) > Hong Kong (Sun/Sun) > Yantian (Mon/Tue) > Los Angeles (Sat/Tue) > Oakland (Wed/Thu) > Tokyo (Sun/Mon) > Xiamen (Thu/Thu) > Dachan Bay (Fri/Sat) > Hong Kong (Sat/Sun) > Cai Mep (Wed).

Transit times to Los Angeles will be sixteen days from Cai Mep and eleven days from Yantian.

APL has also announced the launch of a new weekly direct container shipping service linking Vietnam and the West Coast of North America.

From June 4th, the 4,250 TEU APL Denver, which is deployed on APL's Pacific South 1 (PS1) service, is scheduled to make one of the first calls at the Saigon Port-PSA facility in the first week of June.

The direct Transpacific service offers customers APL's Guaranteed^TM Direct service (day-definite, money-back-guaranteed service for full containerloads), and APL' LinerTrain^TM

service (dedicated APL cargo trains scheduled to meet APL vessels, departing from on-dock rail facilities in Seattle and Los Angeles to major US inland markets).

Transit time from Vietnam to the US West Coast will be fifteen days.

تم اختيار الدكتور تامر موسي- رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة توتال لوجيستيكا لعضوية مجلس إدارة سلسلة تزويد الخدمات.

تأسست المائدة المستديرة لمجلس سلسلة تزويد الخدمات عام 2008 وقامت باستضافة المجلس كلية اللوجيستات والنقل الدولي بمقر الأكاديمية العربية للعلوم والتكنولوجيا والنقل البحري بالإسكندرية.
ويهدف المجلس إلي زيادة حركة تطوير سلسلة الخدمات اللوجيستية وإدارتها بحرفية عن طريق تطوير وتدعيم البحث والمعرفة.
كما تسعي المائدة لاتاحة الفرصة للمستغلين في مجال سلسلة تزويد الخدمات بالاتصال ببعضهم البعض من أجل التطوير.
ولتدعيم البحث والمعرفة من أجل الوصول إلي أفضل خدمة ممكنة بالإضافة إلي خلق الوعي بأهمية دور سلسلة تزويد الخدمات في حركة إدارة الأعمال والاقتصاد.

Cargo crime in Europe costs €8bn a year

TAPA is taking the fight against cargo crime into Central and Eastern Europe.
Gathering intelligence on freight crime in Central and Eastern Europe and improving supply chain security will be discussed at a free one-day regional conference in Poland next month, which is organised by the Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA).

Speakers at the event will include the Polish police and the Institute of Business Security in Poland (IBB). There will also be a manufacturers' perspective from Dell, a presentation on asset telematics systems and intelligence from GE VeriWise and Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance, plus an overview of TAPA's Freight Security Requirements (FSR) and Truck Security Requirements (TSR).According to Mark Schwarz, conference lead for TAPA EMEA, this is the latest in a series of events in the EMEA region aimed at generating a higher level of intelligence on cargo crime and to position TAPA membership as the most effective way to tackle a problem that is estimated to cost businesses some €8 billion a year in Europe alone.

معيار استدلالي لكلفة الشحن تأخذ به الجمارك السعودية يقوم على أساس وزن الوحدة كبديل لعنصر الشحن الفعلي الذي تتضمن القيم (سيف).

علمت مدونة (shipping is my life) أن كوسكودوم مصر اختارت احمد فؤاد كامل مديرا لفرع الاسكندرية
وكان أحمد فؤاد يعمل مديرا للتسويق فى كوسكودوم القاهرة قبل ان ينتقل الى واحدة من شركات الشحن الكبرى فى مصر ثم عودة اخرى لكسكودوم ولكن مديرا لفرع الاسكندرية فتمنياتنا له بالتوفيق والنجاح

البعض يواجه مشكلة فى ارسال تعليقات لانه يجد مطلوبا ان يكون له حساب على جوجلولتفادى ذلك اختر (غير معرف ) واضغط عليها وبذلك سترسل تعليقك بسهولة جدا بدون عوائقفقط اكتب امضائك فى نفس مربع التعليق

توقعات بزيادة فى اسعار الشحن البحرى فى يونيو القادم

علمت من مصادرى الخاصة أن هناك نية لبعض الخطوط- والتى تخدم خاصة موانئ بورسعيد وتنقل الى الاسكندرية -هناك نية لزيادة نوالين الشحن فى شهر يونيو القادم ولكن لم يصلنى بعد حتى الان كم ستكون هذه الزيادة
وانا عن نفسى ألتمس العذر للخطوط الملاحية فى الزيادة بعد الهبوط الكبير فى اسعار نوالين الشحن واللذى تواكب مع الازمة المالية العالمية والتى مايزال العالم يعانى منها حتى الان
ولقد تعلمت فى هذه الفترة -فترة هبوط اسعار الشحن - أن أكثر من تضرروا من هذا الهبوط هم شركات الشحن (Freight Forwarders) ولذا أنا عن نفسى أتمنى أن تصل أسعار الشحن الى سابق زمانها عندما كان سعر شحن الحاوية ال20 قدم من شنغهاى الى السخنة مثلا كان حوالى 2000 دولار
ولذا أنا أول من يرحب بهذه الزيادة العامة فى نوالين الشحن
وسأوافى قراء مدونتى أولا بأول عن أى زيادة تطرأفى الخطوط الملاحية

CMA CGM and Maersk launch North Asia – Black Sea service

CMA CGM and Maersk will launch a new joint service linking North Asia and the Black sea on May 20th

from eyefortransport.
The New Bosphorus Express will deploy ten 6,500 TEU vessels; five from CMA CGM and five from Maersk.The port rotation for the new service will be: Dalian > Tianjin > Busan > Shanghai > Ningbo > Taipei > Chiwan > Yantian > Tanjung Pelepas > Port Kelang > Aqaba > Port Said > Damietta > Istanbul Evyap > Istanbul Ambarli > Constanza > Illichivsk > Odessa > Damietta > Port Said > Port Kelang > Tanjung Pelepas > Dalian. The New Bosphorus Express enhances CMA CGM's existing Med services, and is now able to call directly at all major Asian and Mediterranean ports.
