K-Line and Wan Hai Lines are to co-operate on a fixed-day weekly service linking key ports in Japan with China, Hong Kong and Vietnam.
The Japan-China-Vietnam (JCV) service will begin in early-May, on a 21 day rotation calling at Tokyo > Yokohama > Shanghai > Hong Kong > Huangpu > Da Nang > Hochiminh City (Cat Lai & VICT) > Hong Kong > Shekou > Tokyo.
The JCV Service is currently operated by WHL. The new JCV service will be operated by three 770 TEU vessels – one from K-Line replacing one of WHL’s vessels, and two maintained by WHL.
The joint service will drop the southbound call at Shekou and add Huangpu.
